A busy weekend

Well this last week has flashed by. On Tuesday (30th) Helena the midwife came for her regular visit. All well with the baby, we heard a lovely heartbeat, my blood pressure is fine. In any case, the baby is moving around like mad, much more active than Vincent was.

On Wednesday I was in the office all day and Pete was on the bar at the theatre in the evening.

Thursday is my day with Vincent and we mooched around at home and then after lunch we walked off to the park where he climbed about on the frames and spent ages on the swings. He dribbled his football back almost to the gates of the park.

On Friday I was in London all day for a union meeting and Pete and Vincent had the day completely by themselves. They walked into Central Six, played in the garden and made another trip to the park.

On Saturday it was up early and I was helping out at the NCT nearly new sale. After we put all the stuff out, the helpers get first dibs on anything they want to buy before the general public are let in. I bought a few things (couldn't resist a couple of 0-3 months girl's outfits, and then some extra nappies and a couple of other things). The rest of the day I was in the cash room with the other pregnant helpers sorting out the seller's tickets as they came in. It was non-stop work but good fun and we chatted the whole time.

Then Pete and Vincent picked me up about 3pm and we headed off to visit our friends Paul, Ruth and 14 month old James in Market Harborough.
After we had got both the boys to bed about 8pmish, we had a curry and chatted the rest of the night away. I had a Guinness (have got a real yearning for Guinness at the moment). Vincent has started to kiss everybody.. it's very sweet. On Sunday morning it was my turn on the early Vincent shift (he slept well but woke about 7am!) and then we headed back home because Mark, Jo and the girls were stopping by for lunch on their way back from holidaying up North.
Look at the strange floating piece of jigsaw in the photo!! Freaky!!
