Vincent's second birthday

Ahhhh.... Vincent is two years old! Unfortunately he woke with a bad cough and cold so not the best start but he did get quites excited about all the presents and cards, even though when we said 'It's your birthday today' he always answers back 'No!'.

We got him a tent and tunnel set which we were pleased he seemed to love and immediately started to clamber through.






I also managed to get my act together to make a cake in the shape of the moon (Vincent absolutely loves the moon) and some fairy cakes etc. I forgot to take a photo of it before we cut it though so had to quickly put some slices back!

We had invited friends from the theatre and NCT group and so there were about 8 children here and Pete's Mum and Pat arrived about 1pm. The get together was starting from 2pm but Vincent decided to go to sleep at 130pm and didn't wake up till gone 3!! Typical. Anyway, we did the candle lighting and blowing out and sang happy birthday and there was mayhem for a while with all the children running around!








In the evening Gennie and Matt came round and we had a curry and Pete had bought this nice bottle of red wine called 'Vincent's Breeze' which seemed very fitting to drink!

All in all a nice day even though Vincent was a bit grumpy because of not feeling too well.
