Another week gone by

Well as usual time has flown by. This week not much that special has happened. Tuesday and Wednesday were work days for me, largely in the office, and so Dad picked up Vincent on Wednesday from nursery.

On Thursday we went into town and had lunch at the Herbert Gallery. The intention was to go to the Jungle exhibition again but it was completely full and so they weren't allowing anymore visitors in. We walked around near the castle and Vincent had Grandad running up and down the grassy slope a million times... 'Again again!'.

Friday was Dad's last day here so we went for lunch at The Bear in Berkswell. It was a lovely day (one of very few we have had) so we sat outside. Pete had this starter that turned out to be a whole Camembert warmed up... I can't believe he ate it all, especially as he followed it up with a rib eye steak and half a treacle sponge pudding (shared with me)... what a pig! Then we took Dad to the airport. When Dad reached into give Vincent a kiss goodbye, he burst into tears (Vincent, not Dad!) and it took ages for him to stop... ahhh.... he is going to miss having his Grandad around. Still we will see him in a week as he is joining us for the theatre holiday to Spain.

Pete and I had a quiet weekend just watching TV mostly. I am feeling really tired at the moment... I thought I was supposed to feel totally alive and refreshed during the second semester...mmmm! Anyway I have officially reached the half way point of the pregnancy... I can't believe how quickly it has gone. On Saturday night we had Gennie and Matt over to watch a film (got to make the most of Sky movies before Stephen's package runs out on the 24th!).

Today I have been feeling very tired and a bit under the weather with achy stretchy pains in my belly so haven't felt up to much, but I did the early shift with Vincent (not really that early, he woke at 6 and then went back to sleep with us until 8) so Pete could have a lie in. Also today was momentous because Vincent has started to say 'Mummy'... ahhhhh! I bet I will wish for the days when he didn't soon enough!

On Tuesday Stephen and Lauren arrived back in England after their world adventure. It was great to see them.
We also had Steve, Sue and their baby Jack over on the Thursday so we had a busy house.
