And another calamity!

This week started okay... Pete and I went out to see Quantam of Solace with Gennie and Matt on sunday night while Olivia babysat. It was very good, and we worked out the last time we went to the cinema was when I was pregnant with Vincent to see Casino Royale!

Then Sunday night poor Vincent woke up with a bad fever and that was him for the rest of the night and all day Monday, very sorry for himself and feverish poor little boy. However the fever seemed to break on Monday night and he was back to his normal self on tuesday. I waited until 11am to see how he was and then took him to nursery.

On Tuesday night I helped Louise Bagley out by sitting as a model (just face!) for her art class. It was all very amusing to see the portraits of me! Then walking out from her art studio across the garden to go back home, I took a step and ended up up to my boobs in freezing water... I had fallen in her pond!!!! I can't believe I did that. I just dont know how I got myself out, I just dont remember getting out, but out I must have got because I managed to walk back to the studio and stand there dripping wet laughing! Must have been some kind of adrenalin survival instinct. Luckily I did nothing else but badly bruise my finger. I quickly rushed home to be met by a worried Pete (Pete B. had called him to say have hot towels ready and I think Pete was more relieved I had fallen in pond and it wasnt labour starting early!!) and I jumped in the bath.

Pete says I can't leave the house now as all these things keep happening!
