Oh when oh when will this baby arrive?!
Depending on whose dates you go with I am either 9 or 11 days overdue...grrrgh!
Helena came to see me yesterday and all is still very well with baby and me so I shouldnt complain: this little one clearly wants to cook a bit more. Helena tried to do a cervical sweep (sorry for those who dont want the gory details) but apparently my cervix is still too high, or it may be because I have a tilted womb so she says it may not be reachable until later in labour anyway. Anyway, Helena is coming again on Saturday and then I have an appointment booked at the hospital on Monday (please oh please come before then little baby!) for some monitoring and a scan to check baby and placenta.
But meanwhile, I am still feeling very well and bounding around everywhere: I am trying to go on long walks to get things going!
We have had some excitement on the house front: those 3 viewings last week yielded 2 offers...!! We couldnt believe it. One was possibly enough to negotitate with the owner of the amazing Warwick Ave house but in the end we were pipped at the post by a couple who saw it the same weekend we did our viewings and who clearly have money to burn and are much more liquid than us: there is no way we could beat them so there you go... clearly not meant to be. Now we are just deciding whether we want to think about the only other house we would be at all interested in and which we saw in August. We went to view it again on Monday and are thinking about it.....watch this space.... anyway a nice distraction from just waiting for the baby and getting impatient!
