Anne-marie's Birthday Magical Mystery Tour

Well I never.... Pete certainly surprised me for my birthday...woke up to cards from the children and a piece of paper entitled Anne-marie's 38th Birthday Magical Mystery Tour with 8 blank slots on it. The 2 Vs taken to nursery we got a taxi to the railway station and then a train to London where the tour started:
0951: Train to London
1100: Trip on the London Eye
1200: Riverboat Cruise up the Thames
1400: Lunch at Wong Kei's in China Town
1500: Watched Agatha Christie's 'The Mouse Trap'
1730: Pre Theatre Dinner at my favourite restaurant-Marco Pierre White's 'L'Escargot'
1930: Watched Mike Leigh's 'Ecstasy'
2330: Train back to Coventry
A very tight timescale, and what a lot of things to pack in but it was fabulous!!!! Ardha picked the children up, gave them dinner and put them to bed and then Olivia baby sat until we got in. Ahh.... what a lovely day... thank you Peter!
I'll never say you never organise anything again (although it is the first time in 20 yeasr ha ha!!!)
