No water and then lots of water

Well it has been a couple of days since I had a chance to update. Wednesday was spent at a meeting in London for me (always seem to be going there and back at the moment, and at £107 a pop, I am glad the union is paying!). The weather has continued to be hot, hot, hot, and Vincent has looked very sweet indeed toddling off to nursery in his little shorts.

On Thursday morning I got up to find that we had absolutely no water (Severn Trent have dug up the road outside our house and we did get a warning letter, but in the end we had no water from 730am till 4pm!!!). Great timing as of course I had a whole washing load of nappies to do, and Vincent decided to do three poos today! I couldn't even give him drink of water, and had to go and buy a bottle. Anyway, we went off into town for his usual sing and sign class but unfortunately it was cancelled as the teacher was ill. So we had lunch at Starbucks and then came home and after he woke up, we spent the rest of the day in the garden. Absolutely gorgeous. When the water finally came back on, we filled up the paddling pool and let Vincent play around in the water: he loved it. Can't work out if he liked the water or being nude more!

Thursday night was my first full dress rehearsal and all went well... only 1 more rehearsal left till opening night.... eeeekkkk!!!
