As Homer says....."DOH!!!"

Another pretty good night from Vincent-he slept from 8pm till nearly 1am then just needed a pat and pull up of the covers and back to sleep until 530am when I brought him into our bed for some milk and more sleep until 8ish.Pete gave me a little lie in too bless him while he and Vincent had breakfast.

Then spent the rest of the morning doing some work on the book and also informing various authorities about lost cards, including paying out £17.50 for a replacement driving licence. Then got ready to go out to lunch at Emma's house (with babies Freddie and Maddie with Nicole)and lo and behold what do I find in the change bag but my purse.....DOH!!!!! I must have put it in there instead of in my handbag when we left the soft play centre. So very glad not to have lost it, but a tad annoyed that I had just paid out for a new licence (I tried to ring up to retract the request but in typically sod's law fashion, they had been very efficient and the whole thing had already been processed). Oh well that will teach me to check all my bags thoroughly before jumping to conclusions.

Had a lovely lunch at Emma's, where Vincent amused us immensely by spending the whole time playing with two strings of beads, wrapping them around his head and showing them off to us (Emma took some photos so I'll post them up). Perhaps I should get him a whole jewellery box and makeup set ha ha. Perhaps not quite yet!!
