Been a few days since I had a chance to update and it has been very busy! I was in London all day Friday for a union meeting and then back just in time to go out again for a 4 hour rehearsal!
Saturday morning, while the boys had a lie-in, I was up bright and early to help out at Coventry NCT nearly new sale. The benefits of helping out (apart from altruism) is that helpers get to look around the sale and buy before the public are allowed in. We sold a few things, and I bought some good stuff in return! This included a lovely wooden rocking horse for only £3 which Vincent absolutely loves. I tried to get some video but obviously picked a bad time because he was more interested in having some dinner than he was in rocking (he does the sign for milk for whenever he is hungry now), but believe me he really rocks on it!!
Then after the sale I dashed back and we drove to Brighton for my friend Jim's 40th birthday party. We had a lovely hotel with a great sea view and it was lovely weather. Vincent refused to go to sleep until around 1130 but wasn't any trouble at all (just didn't want to miss the fun)! He also did his first standing all by himself for over 10 seconds.... guess he will be walking soon!
