Pete has come to the conclusion that he is a pariah of technological devices. Our media centre computer that controls all our TV etc completely crashed after we tried to renew Mcafee and it all went wrong. After managing to get Mcafee to refund the money and Pete having to rebuild the hard drive, it still isn't working properly.
Day for Vincent at nursery today while I worked at home (and put washing on and did various other things too). Anyway, Vincent had a lovely day and as the third load of washing came to its end, I thought it was making a very strange noise. Anyway, when I opened it, black smoke and a terrible smell of rubber emerged and the drum has completely ceased.... oh dear...so we have to buy a new washing machine... yuk. I have been thinking that the machine was on its last legs anyway.. it wasn't new when we came to the house and so we reckon it is probably about 7-10 years old so not unexpected.
