Wednesday to Sunday

I was at work all day Weds and Vincent at nursery so not much to tell really. Then in the evening I did my first stint on the bar at the theatre since Vincent was born, which all went well.

Thursday is usually my day with Vincent but this week Pete and I changed around because I had a deadline for a paper Gill and I are presenting at a conference next week so I worked on that all day. probably spent too long in front of the pc because after dinner I had the most horrendous migraine... havent had one of those for years. Pete was out for some drinks with Dave next door and the pool crowd, so he came in a bit worse for wear so was no help at all!!

Vincent and I had a lovely day on Friday. We went swimming in the morning and had lunch afterwards in the cafe at The Village Hotel where the pool is. Then he fell asleep in the car on the way home and after I transferred him to his bed he slept until nearly 3pm, so clearly all that swimming wiped him out. Then we headed to the park to meet up with Emma and Nicole and their girls Freddie and Maddie. It was a lovely sunny day so we just hung around playing with the ball and frisbee after a few gos on the swings and slides.

Saturday was the most horrible drizzly day ever so couldnt go outside... the kind of rain that soaks you instantly, and we had planned to do garden jobs but no luck. So I spent the day clearing out the pantry (2 black bags full of out of date stuff!!) and sorting out my clothes drawers which had got so packed I couldnt close them: a another bin bag of stuff to throw away (not even good enough stuff for the charity shop in there!)

On Sunday Vincent and I went off to mass at 9am and then as it was sunnier we did some stuff in the garden. The picture posted below is of Vincent, who at around 1130am took himself off for a nap on the cushions in the dining room (we usually have them out for cushion mountain).
