More House stuff

Big house changes these last few months have been 1) Dave changing the bath around so that the tiled ledge is now at the left hand side of the bath, not the right, thus stopping the leaks from the shower, and he has finished tiling the floor in there and the toilet. It looks lovely. Now all we need is for the decorating to be done in there. Oh, and sort our extractor fan out: we had just got it all fitted and it worked for about a month and then wouldn’t turn itself off, so we have to get that fixed!
2) We have continued to have the floors finished: Jamie is currently taking up the remaining boards in the study and trimming them and relaying them and then we will have them sanded and oiled like the rest.
3) Just as everything was sorted..... nice heating all working and then.....in screwing down a floorboard in our bedroom that had been banging around, Pete screwed straight through one of the new heating pipes! Leak!!! Oh dear, that was a £200 mistake but it is all okay again now. The fact that it was simply out of Pete’s normal OCD behaviour not to check what was underneath does give some sense of how tired he is at the mo!
